So 2013 was pretty great year and I wanted to share my favorite things.

Beauty

Naked Basics Palette 

All these colors are super silky and pretty. My favorite colors are Crave, Venus, and W.O.S.

Paris Presents Foundation Brush

This brush applies  my  BB cream really nicely and I like round top brushes for BB cream but it blends my under eye concealer beautifully.

This concealer totally brightens my under eyes but isn't great at covering blemishes.

Fashion

Okay I don't I can go any were without my studded Target beanie.I'm obsessed.

I was also totally obsessed with  my Rocket Dog combat boots. 

So I think every single fashion blog involved these pants there so cut and basic but so unique and comfortable.(Target)

So for #7&8 my favorite shirt was the City that Never Sleeps T-shirt from Delia's.And this statement necklace that goes with like everything.(Forever21)

Songs

I absolutely love Lorde as an artist but my favorite songs were Team and Tennis Court.

Books

Okay Suzanne Collins is a mind blowing artist and she wrote the world's best book.They are so fast passed and I feel like everyone says this but it keep me up all night. And I haven't gotten my hands on Mockingjay but I swear I will.

Movies

 

Okay this was the hands down best comedies of 2013. When I saw it even my dad laughed and he's more of  a fast and furious kind of guy.But I mean you got to love the minions.

Christmas Survival Guide~Gift Wrapping 

So I know I haven't been posting and the holidays stress and all that.So to avoid that stress that I went through I have a survival guide.

So to wrap gifts I like to use the Scotch pop up tape that you put on your hand and the like invisible style tape.

And I use boxes to put clothes in and stuff that's like plush or hard to wrap.

An if you have anythings like candles of something gift bags which I love and you can by holiday theamed ones or like color shopping bags.

And when wrapping gift cards I just pick out a cute holder and wrap it up or get those cute holiday takeout boxes.

And I love topping of presents with a bow.

So I just took this shirt and paired it with some jeans its just chill.

No.2 Gold Accessories

So I decided to pair with gold accessories and kept that them and it's very street chic\street grunge.

No.3 Sleek Chic

So I paired it with this blazer and it makes the outfit more polished.

No.4 Work Out 

This also kinda like a lose fitting work out top and I paired it with some basketball shorts.

No.5 Comfy Casual 

Okay we all have those day were we have to were sweatpants.

Kesha Makeup

Then I since we are using my concealer on my eyes as a extra primer because were wile be using a lot of shimmer which creases easily and then I'm going to dab on the color tattoo in bad to the bronze. Next using the Naked Basics Venus in the inner corner. Next taking the Forever 21 6 color slash palette I'm taking the purple with gold color and put in on the inner lid. Next taking Naked 2 from the Basics palette I'm putting it on the outer lid. Next putting the black with green splash I'm lightly blending it in the crease. And taking the green with blue splash and smudging it on my lower lash line. And then taking crave from The Basics palette and winging it out. And lastly taking the Forever 21 matte red lipstick and dabbing that on. And of course I'm NOT doing a Ke$ha hair tutorial because that would require belching my dark hair and I've never done anything like that to my hair.But if you guys didn't see her hair at the AMA fashion post when she had gorgeous pastel hair-http://leahinstyle.blogspot.com/2013/11/ama-fashion.html.

Everyday Makeup Routine-Winter

So first I moisturize my lips with the eos lip balm.

Then I apply the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Medium with my Paris Presents foundation brush.

Then I apply the Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch concealer and blend it with my Paris Presents foundation brush. Then I set the BB cream and concealer with the Wet'n' Wild Coverall Powder in Medium -http://wnwbeauty.com/product.php?cid=17&pid=929&subid=35

Then I apply the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze-http://www.maybelline.com/Products/Eye-Makeup/Eye-Shadow/Eye-Studio-Color-Tattoo-24HR-Cream-Gel-Shadow.aspx#shadedetails

Then I take the Urban Decay Naked Basics and put Venus in the inner corner and then I put Faint in the crease and blend it out. And then I smudge Crave on the lower lash line and line my upper lash line and wing it out. Last I lightly dab on the Forever 21 Matte Red lipstick.

♥~Black Friday Haul 2013♥~

Black Friday Haul 2013

So I went shopping on Black Friday with my best friend and we had a blast and we like went to bed at 3:00am after watching the Hunger Games when we came home.

Forever 21\For Love 21

So starting from the left I got a matte red lip stick and it smells like vanilla and if you put a balm under it its not drying. The eye shadow palette my friend gave me before we went shopping but it is from Forever 21. And lastly I got this gold statement necklace that has like spikes on it.

Icing

They had buy on get one 50% of at Icing so I just got some makeup remover pads and black liquid liner which is a work in progress on applying that.

Sephora

At Sephora I got the Naked Basics palette by Urban Decay and there was no crazy deals at Sephora but I just real wanted to get this.

dELiA*s

Okay all the sales girl had to wear these for Black Friday and they thought that is awesome that I was buying it. This was like the last one and it was in my size and was so excited it was just meant to be.

Bath and Body Works

I got mom the Amber Blush shower gel but I already hid it for Christmas. And I had a coupon that was make a purchase of $10 or more you got a free gift of a $13 value so I bought the Warm Vanilla body butter and got the shower gel for free. Then my friend was doing buy 3 get 3 and needed one last on so I picked out the True Blue Spa  body butter bar.

Bed Bath and Beyond

So the YouTube hype over the Bed Bath and Beyond makeup section is true. I got the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream in Medium. I got the hyped about Maybelline Dream Touch Lumi Highlight Concealer in Beige. And I really wanted to try Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze.

   So then my friend and I spent like an hour in the World Market food section. So there was like the this olive oil bar with free samples and these mini toast so in order to it to justifiable for eating like 10 samples I got the Parmesan Chesse and Garlic olive oil and the mini toast things. And lastly my mom are going to make my dad put this are stockings we got the World Market yummy chocolate bars in Cookies and Cream (my mom's) and the Red Velvet cupcake (for myself).

Five Below 

At Five Below I just really wanted to go there. I got the Wet n Wild Cover All pressed powder in Medium. And then to blend my BB cream and concealer  I got the Paris Present tapered foundation brush. And lastly I got a plastic bin because I'm running out of makeup storage.

Kanye West Boycotts Louis Vuitton!

Kanye was recently in Paris and asked to meet with the head of Louis Vuitton (Yves Carcelle)

when they said "I don't understand why do we need to meet with you". He replied "Well let me to you explain why you need to meet with me, because right know everybody in New York City right know don't buy any Louis Vuitton until after January, now do you want to meet with me, influence, they think that I don't realize my power." Okay first of all Kanye doesn't have any relevant "power". He doesn't have really power to make every one in New York stop buying it. He's honestly whining about nothing so what Yves didn't want to meet with him. Sorry just had to totally rant about that and did you guys like "fashion gossip blog".

AMA Fashion

so recently the AMA (American Music Awards) happened and of course I have to do a fashion recap.

Miley Cyrus

Okay so Miley was wear a white on white from Versus. I have to say a white blazer and white pants with gold safety pin accents. You go girl this is the best I've seen since she cut her hair. Just straight up very classy white on white with black pumps.

Ariana Grande

So Ariana was wearing an all read sequin dress with a plain black clutch. Um not real a big fan of the dress seems like something I wore when I was little.

Katy Perry

Katy had a Oscar de la Renta dress on but again not a fan a little much and just doesn't a peal to me. And I'm not a fan of her hair with the curls either. But I love her hand bag and ring.

Taylor Swift 

 

Taylor Swift was wearing Julien Macdonald. Okay her hair not liking the style of bangs she has because it was kinda like oldies rock 70's. And her dress was metallic gold strapless cocktail dress. She paired it with gold heals and surprisingly with a nude lip. Um her hair was a little to 70's for my taste but I loved her shoes and her dress wasn't really my taste.

Ke$ha

Ke$ha was wearing a Michael Costella one shoulder dress with gathered fabric at the open leg. I thing the gathered fabric is like one of those really big obnoxious flowers you see on wedding dress but the open leg was very classic though. Ke$ha we usually see in glittery outfits with mess hair and makeup but she really kept it classy with the little black dress and pastel straight hair.

Emma Roberts

Emma was wearing a Lavin metallic genie style dress or long romper thing. Um okay yeah making a statement but the bold fuchsia heals and bag was just like were is she going with this. 

  

Kylie and Kendall Jenner

Kylie- She's wearing a Maiyet  Giambatista Valli with a kinda collared white crop top with velour pants and kinda weird unzipped heals. And I'm a huge fan of her like ombre hair + bangs. And can we just take a moment for her bag honestly it's gorgeous and I wish I could have it. Kendall- She wearing Keepsake sweetheart neckline crop top and a triangle side cut skirt and she pulled the rest together with a big stament silver necklace and  nude pumps. I have to say the Jenner girls looked pretty good.

So Fall is the time were I listen to a lot of music and cozy up with a good book.

Books

Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen

This book is insanely good it's about a girl Colie (Nicole) who stays with her aunt for the summer while her mom Kiki Sparks weight loss queen goes on a tour around the world. She shed 45 pounds while her mom rose to fame but still struggles to find confidences. On her first day she scores a job at The Last Chance a local restaurant and the two waitresses teach something about friendship and confidence. She spends the summer falling in love and discovering her self. This was such a good book and I highly recommend it because and I love teen summer stories.

Hunger Games by Susan Collins

So don't punch me and had me but I've never read the Hunger Games.( I was in the middle of a long series when all the hype came out about it.) So since Catching Fire is coming out I finally got around to reading it. So if you've been living under a rock and don't know what its about then I'll tell you. 16 year old Katniss Everdeen living in a distopia of what was once North America before the "rebellion". On reaping day her sister Prim is selected out of the bowl. She know Prim would never make it in the Hunger Games so she instinctively volunteers in her place. So I'm only on chapter one so no spoilers. And so I'll be reading the whole series this fall.

                                         

                                                            House of Hades by Rick Riordan

                                                          

So this is the series I was reading while all the hype of the Hunger Games was going on. Rick Riordan author of Percy Jackson series has come out with the 4th book in The Heroes of Olympus series which  is like a sequel series to The Lighting Thief  series. I'm really excited to read this it's a insanely thick book though so it will keep me busy. Its all about Greek and Roman mythology in the modern world and how the demigods save the world.

The Faults in Our Stars by John Green

I saw this on Lauren Conrad's blog and it looked so good and I'm definitely going to read this. It's about a cancer patient named Hazel (sixteen)who is forced to go to a support group and falls in love with Augustus ex-basketball players. Hazel finishes high school and wants to pursue her collage education.

Music

 I've been loving Lorde's album my favorites are Tennis Court , Royals , Love Club, and Team.

I've been loving Walking on Air and Dark Horse from Katy Perry's new album Prism.

And my favorite song of the moment has been Counting Stars by One Republic.

And my favorite radio station has been Katy Perry guest DJ on iTunes radio. ( and can we all admit Pandora is know dead)
